About the Festival
The Mediterranean Rhythm is an international cultural and tourism manifestation with a goal of bringing different cultural, industrial and societal contemporaries from our Mediterranean countries, regions and cities together. Moreover, the Festival wants to display our similarities and differences that connects us and make us prosperous for centuries now.
Time: July 10th – July 14th
Venue: Strossmayer Square, in the middle of downtown Zagreb.
Hidden pearl of Zagreb
Strossmayer Square is one of the most underrated parks, hidden among the trees between Zrinjevac Park and Tomislavac Park. If you look closely, you will catch sight of a previous century and life here. A perfect venue for the festival that wants to bring Mediterranean tones to the hectic Zagreb’s lifestyle. Citizens of Zagreb find enjoyable to give their parks short nicknames. You can hear Britanski trg called Britanac, Trg kralja Tomislava became Tomislavac while Trg Nikole Šubića Zrinskog has been called Zrinjevac since almost forever.
Now everyone will call Strossmayer Square – Mediteranac.
Mediteranac is where The Mediterranean Rhythm is.
